FLY FISHING SCHOOL

Our Weekend Getaway Fly Fishing School provides three days of instruction beginning on Friday afternoon and concluding on Sunday evening. Classes are taught "on the water" with experienced fly fishing guides as instructors and the beautiful Missouri river as your classroom. With a ratio of two students per instructor you'll have some fun, you'll receive plenty of individualized instruction and you'll learn about;

• basic and advanced casting
  
• how to read the water
  
• useful entomology
  
• fly selection
  
• dry fly, nymph and streamer fishing techniques
  
• how to wade fish safely
  
• how to fish from a drift boat
  
• how to properly play, land and release fish
  
• photography tips
  
• basic first aid including how to painlessly remove fish hooks
